ST. ANDREW'S ANNOUNCEMENTS

The Sunday School is in need of helpers. Anyone interested, please talk to Kathy Harnadek or Margie Atherton. This would not be a weekly commitment as we are hoping to get a few people so it might only be once a month or less.

We are planning to meet at St. Andrew’s on Tuesday, January 31^st at 10am to flatten milk bags for cutting. If you can spare a few hours, please join us as we need people who can sit and count out 10 bags and flatten them by hand into piles. 

  

MINISTERIAL LUNCHES

Ministerial Lunches will be resuming on Wednesday, November 2nd at 11:30 am at the Harrow United Church.  If you know of anyone in need of food for the body or for the soul, have them attend.

LAY LEADERSHIP DAY

 February 11^th at 9 am - All Saint’s Church in Windsor

SPITFIRE GAME

The Men's Group of Christ Church will be going to a Spitfire game in Windsor on March 15th. Cost is $18 a ticket (includes hotdog & pop) Call Jon Taylor (519.738.4969) for details there is a sign up sheet at Christ Church and at St. Andrew's.

SHROVE TUESDAY

Pancake Supper on February 21st at Christ Church. More details to follow.

PERMANENT REMINDERS

SPIRITUAL GROWTH

Please remember to bring packaged and canned goods for our local food banks to church on the second Sunday of the month. They are in need of everything except baked beans and especially for cereals and snack sized fruits and puddings.

HARROWOOD

The second Thursday of every month there is an Anglican Service in the chapel at Harrowood at 11am.

Parishioners are encouraged to join us at these services and to visit with the seniors who live at Harrowood. They would be delighted to see you!

PIES FOR SALE
St Andrew's has meat pies for sale @ $3.00 each. They can be purchased after the Sunday service during coffee hour or call Janet Clifford 519-738-6851.


STAMPS FOR BIBLES
Please cut your used stamps off the envelopes leaving a 1/4 inch border and place them in the envelope provided in the narthex of each of our churches.  This will help to support the work of the Bible Society.
